Reading List

If you love to read, here are some suggestions! The green entries are a few from 2012.

FAITH and LIFE

A Year of Biblical Womanhood: How a Liberated Woman Found Herself  Covering Her Head, Sitting On Her Roof, and Calling Her Husband, Master, Rachel Held Evans  Funny, soul-searching, this book taught me a lot about the Bible besides being entertaining. I appreciate that women are becoming Biblical scholars. We need them.

As We Forgive , stories of reconciliation and forgiveness from Rwanda that will challenge the hardest heart.  http://www.amazon.com/As-We-Forgive-Stories-Reconciliation/dp/0310287308

One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. I began reading this book once, gave it away because I didn’t like her writing style, but joined a reading group this year that was reading it. On my second time around, I have learned to appreciate her depth, though not her style. Chapter 8 is the best of all, in my opinion. Learning to Thank and Trust God!
