Americans often disagree about how much we should be spending on foreign aid.

Arguments often fall along Party lines, with Republicans favoring cuts in foreign aid to developing countries, but demanding aid to Israel…Democrats urging more spending for Africa  and other needy countries.

But, few of us realize how little out of our national budget is really spent in aiding developing countries.
