Invisible Children

Gulu, Uganda

A new blog subscriber joined ‘Connecting the Dots’ yesterday!!! Each new person is a cause for celebration! Thank you!

The web address, ‘Invisible Children.com‘, triggered my curiosity, so, I went to the website of ‘Invisible Children’ and want to share with everyone what I found. It’s good!

Before I recommend any new Charity or ‘NGO’ (Non-Government Organization) my first stop is ‘Charity Navigator‘ which is one of my Links at the right of this Blog, listed under Education.

Charity Navigator is an independent, non-profit organization that evaluates Charities by criteria that are important to the public, such as how much money is actually used for its stated purpose, how much is used for administrative purposes etc.

‘Invisible Children’ rates high. It is an organization dedicated to helping young African children forced to become soldiers in Uganda by the ‘Lord’s Resistance Army who kidnaps them.

So, take a look at ‘Invisible Children’ website to see what you think.
