If you are in the USA , you’ll notice it’s “Valentines Day“, today!

Little kids will be exchanging Valentines cards; A bite of  Chocolate seems okay on even the most limited of diets;

My husband is planning to cook me breakfast in bed! That’s his gift to me this year!

But, it’s also a time when many hopes are dashed and hearts are broken. The commercialism is beyond extreme.

So, here’s a reminder of the “true” heart of St. Valentine’s Day.

  1. Great post! Yesterday, I couldn’t believe how many people were in Safeway (large grocery store) and buying flowers, candy, balloons, it was so busy there. I thought, how nice that these people are thinking of their loved ones. But then again, I had to think,…why shouldn’t this be an everyday thing….and why does it this occur only one day of the year? So, I guess the commercialism of it prompts us all to do something like this and go out and buy, buy, buy……
